He graduated from the Department of Drama, programme in acting, at the Faculty of Human Sciences of the Džemal Bijedić University in Mostar. He was one of the founders of the Student Theatre that figured amongst the best amateur theatres of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Yugoslavia. He played in almost all plays of the Student Theatre. He is a permanent member of the National Theatre since 1991, after the Student Theatre shut down. He has played in around 40 premieres ever since that time. He also plays as a guest actor at the Bosnian National Theatre in Zenica. He has appeared in a number of major stage roles.
In addition to his stage work, he has also appeared in radio, TV and film roles.
In 1998, he won the audience award for the best actor of the theatre season.
The winner of Uglješa Kojadinović Award in 2005 for outstanding contribution to the development of the art and culture of theatre, which is given by the Glas Srpske daily newspaper.
